Steve Hornstein

Steve is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Economics/Business. After receiving a law degree from Loyola Law School and passing the California Bar exam, he went on to receive his LL.M. in taxation from Goldengate University while working at the accounting firm Deloitte and Touche, LLP. A Certified Financial Planner(TM) licensee as well as Series 7 and 66 licensed with LPL Financial, Steve has an insurance license and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Steve grew up in Tarzana and continues to live in Tarzana with his wife Bryna, their two children, Ethan and Ella, and their two dogs, Bailey and Riley. Steve is active in charitable and community organizations including the Woodland Hills Rotary, where he has served as Secretary, and the Woodland Hills-Tarzana Chamber of Commerce, where he has served in roles including board member, President, and Chief Financial Officer. In 2008, Steve was honored with the 4th Annual Rose Goldwater Community Service Award at Westfield Shopping Center. A competitive runner, Steve enjoys running 5k races with his dogs, Bailey and Riley, as training for marathons and to raise money for important charitable causes including suicide prevention, cancer research, saving endangered animals, and providing scholarships.

Bryna Hornstein

Bryna grew up in Granada Hills, CA and Salt Lake City, UT. After receiving her degree in political science at the University of Utah in 1999, she moved to Israel for two years. Upon her return to Los Angeles, Bryna met her husband Steve. Bryna received her paralegal certificate from UCLA in 2002. Bryna is a paralegal, Notary Public and has the additional designation of Notary Signing Agent. Bryna lives in Tarzana with her husband Steve, children, Ethan and Ella, and dogs, Bailey and Riley.

Petra Nevarez

Petra Nevarez has worked in the areas of Accounting and Management since 1990. Through her prior professions, she also has experience with importing and Exporting goods from Hong Kong, advertising with top magazines in New York, and has held a license with the State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. She has been married for 28 years and has resided in the San Fernando Valley for 50 yrs.

Felipe LeFranc

Philipe Le Franc
Felipe (Phil) Le Franc is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Business Management. He brings valuable experience in the areas of Estate Planning, Paralegal Service, and Professional Insurance Services. He has provided these services for most of his life to his Professional and Business Clientele with great success. He lives in Glendale, California with his wife and young daughter and is active in his daughter’s middle school Parish Parent and Teachers Organization.

Bill Hole

Based in Simi Valley, Bill Hole from The Hole Group is a Microsoft Certified Professional and member of the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Community. His education includes business and technology studies at Cal State Los Angeles and CSUN. Over the last fourteen years, Bill has provided technology consulting for businesses throughout Southern California. During this time, he has partnered with industry leading companies such as Microsoft, Intel, and Intuit to deliver solutions tailored to the unique requirements of Hornstein Law Offices. Specializing in security and compliance, Bill has a broad perspective and comprehensive expertise in the information technology challenges that companies face today.

Specializing in estate planning, with an emphasis on trust administration. Missy lives in Woodland Hills with her husband and three children. She enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, horseback riding and tennis.

Evan Press

Evan Press holds a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from U.C. Berkeley and a Master's Degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University.

In 1979 Evan joined the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. He served as a vice consul in the Dominican Republic, where he met his wife. He also served in Washington, D.C., and at U.S. Embassies in Nicaragua, Ecuador and Barbados. From 1996 to 2001 Evan served as the Regional Director of the Office of Foreign Missions in Los Angeles, responsible for liaison between the Department of State and the Consular Corps in Southern California. In 2002 he took an early retirement to rejoin his family in Los Angeles.
A long-time investor, in 2008 Evan earned his Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from U.C.L.A. and passed the Certified Financial Planner Exam. He is now studying for his Series 7 license. He joined Hornstein Financial as a Financial Assistant in November 2008.

He is married with two adult daughters, Sarah and Lena. His wife, Isis, is a Passport Adjudicator at the U.S. Passport Office in Los Angeles.
